I'm Baaaaaack!

It's been two years since I added anything to this blog, not that there was much to start with. I started this while sitting in a hotel lobby somewhere in France while waiting for Kevin to return from the company he was visiting.

At the urging of my old/new friend and muse, Beth, I have decided to revive the blog and add to it.

WOW, so much has changed in two years! I lost my Dad to cancer and my Mom's fighting inoperable lung cancer, but she's doing well for the moment, and I'm very grateful for that. I have lost many friends - too many, too young - but I have also been reunited with old friends via Facebook. What a wonderful portal to new/old friendships and memories!

So here's to fresh starts. Isn't it wonderful that we have the opportunity to start over in so many areas of life?

This is the harbor where we stayed, called Claobh Harbor. The picnic bench on the right is where we snagged a free internet connection and I was talking to Ronnie online from that bench. It was surreal!

Scotland Trip

This is the 'cairn' at Kilmartin, called the Kilmartin-Glebe Cairn. A cairn is a burial box made of stones, topped with a bizillion rocks. That's exactly what it looks like - a bizillion rocks piled up on the valley floor.
